I am doing a road trip to Guadalajara. I want to cross the boarder at El Paso T.X. then go to Chihuahua and then Guadalajara. Does anybody know any highways how to get down there or should I just use a G.P.S.

Drive down from Los Angeles to Tijuana, BC

From Tijuana, take highway 002D drive to Tecate, then head for Mexicali and San Luis Rio Colorado (you'll be in Sonora), drive to Sonoyta and then turn south towards Hermosillo.
Keep going south towards Mazatlan
From Mazatlan start going southeast to Tepic
From Tepic you'll see the signs/signals to Guadalajara.

Although it's not as detailed as Mapquest, you can find directions here

Just make sure to include on the left hand side the state of Baja California
The city of Tijuana

and on the right hand side the state of Jalisco
the city of Guadalajara

Good luck!
