A friend of mine is a pupeteer and she likes to make her puppets using objects you can find around the house. One of the puppets that's being made right now is a cyclops and needs some kind of round or semi circular white and somewhat shiny object for his eye. She says, "It needs to be plastic, shiny, convex, not TOO flat, and about the size of if you made an 'OK' sign with your fingers--the inside of that 'O'."
Any ideas would be really appreciated! Thanks!

How about a button? Or you could drill holes in a coin, or cut the bottom of a can and use it.

I've used buttons, but you can also use:
snaps
large, old gaudy earrings
tie clips or lapel pins
plastic caps (from milk or juice jugs)
sequins
wooden or plastic beads
small knobs
Yo-yos (they are fabric circles found in craft stores)
coins
washers or nuts
cut pieces of paper, vinyl or fabric

You can get different sizes of googly-eyes at craft stores, too.

A plastic flip-top off of a aspirin bottle or antacid bottle and glue a black button in the center of it. Glue the ridge of the lid right to the fabric.
