You may have very mild contractions that you just aren't noticing. Get checked at your doctor's to see if you are dialating or effacing at all. Here is a list of natural ways to encourage labor. Lots of luck :)

I was induced at 39 weeks (long story) but I never had the first contraction - not even a Braxton-Hicks. I wasn't dilated or effaced, and the baby hadn't even dropped. I've no doubt I would have gone past my due date.

It's so hard, but try to be patient. The baby needs to cook a little longer. :) Look at it this way - worst case scenario, you only have a month left. I know that seems like an eternity, but before you know it, you will be holding your little bundle of joy and wondering where in the world the time went.

Relax! you still have 3 weeks left ....Consider yourself lucky that you arent suffering from Braxton Hicks. Those are the types of contractions that women experience before actual labor. You not having them doesnt mean that your baby will be late. Taking walks at this point can help bring on labor, but, I wouldnt do anything to onset labor until you are 40 weeks. Remember your baby is becoming healthier and more prepared for the world every day he is in your belly!

That doesn't necessarily mean you will go past your due date its all about when your little one chooses to come. With my 1st i was supposed to be induced in my 38th week on a Wednesday and my water broke the previous Saturday. So be prepared for labor thats the main thing. Do some research on how to prepare yourself for that and just relax some. Good luck.

first of all congrtas dear u reached 37 weeks.donot panic much,i can understand ur situation as i went through the same for my kid.consult ur doctor first, secondly walk a lot and pray to god.Walkin helps a lot in dialating ur membrane.ur membrane has to dialate atleast 10 cm for birth.Ask ur doc how much it has for u now.Just be calm and strong, things will be fine and soon u will hold ur bundle of joy in ur hands.TAKE CARE.
