Most people here don't even peek at Yahoo India, so I don't think a bad reputation spurred by those questions will be an issue.

Corruption is reality of life not only in India but every where but because we live here & see it happening we think we are the only corrupt people in the world. As far asking question in relation to corruption related topics is concerned it will not stop absolutely the corrupt practice in India but at least people can initiate this process of eradication by discussing the practice of corruption in various fields. As far giving bad name to India in eyes of foreigners is concerned, they are not untouched by this corruption as it is also prevalent in their own country. If you read the history of USA the Watergate scandal relating to Nixon then President of US happened there only not here in India. So dear never have this inferiority complex that we are only facing the evil of corruption in our country it’s a universal problem.

when we have run a thorn,we have to consult a Doctor. You just
can't hide the wound;you should look for means to cure it.During the Jack's rule, native Indians were bribed by making them to change their community for a post in the British Government. That was the thorn. Since then Indians have started accepting bribes.
Corruption is always across the world. Only the ranking differs. In
UK or USA, it could be negligible. At the same time, can you even IMAGINE of it in certain Gulf countries?you will be barbarically
beheaded in street corners. So dear friend, talking about a problem
and discussing to solve it is certainly BETTER than hiding it.That's
what we do!

By asking u create an awareness, and it is this awareness that may be responsible for finding a solution. We have to address the issues facing us today, by shying away from them or not talking about it, we can't find a solution. Corruption today, is greatly hindering the progess of India, and maybe other countries too. We have to weed out corruption, and it requires lot of will power and effort from every citizen of the country and maybe the world.
