My sister is considering this name for her second child, possibly with Melody as the middle name, and she'd like some feedback.

If you pronounce it like Asia with a K in front of it, I actually think it's really pretty. It's not common or trendy, but it's not silly or pretentious either. I like it.

You know what? Kasia is pretty. I had to say it over a few times but it grew on me quickly. Very pretty.

However....I'm not so sure I'm diggin' it with Melody as the middle name.

Hmmmm.......Kasia Melody???? Naw. Let's see if we can find a middle name that better suits Kasia. That'll be your next question right? :p

Kasia Machelle
Kasia Natalle (pron: Na-tal)
Kasia Terese
Kasia Joelle
Kasia Elaine
Kasia Maree

****Can you put the pronunciation down a little better for these folks****

I think Kasia is a beautiful name, actually. Very unique but not wierd! I don't care for it with Melody, though.
Kasia Renee? Kasia Grace? Kasia Michelle?

If you have to say how to pronounce it, it will lead to a lifetime of annoyance and mistakes. It is cute but I would have said it Kas-ee-ah. She could use it as a middle - Melody Kasia flows very well.

I like Kasia pronounced Kaasha. It's Polish I think and very sweet.
K-Asia sounds really made up and obviously made up.

This is one of my favorite names. However, if I was to name my baby girl Kasia, I prefer the Spelling Kayja. Just my opinion, though!

Honestly, while it is a pretty name- when this child gets old enough to work she may run across a few employers that will disqualify her as a potential worker because of her name. I think that is because many don't feel like trying to pronounce names. if you switch it, it is easier for those who cant tell how to pronounce Kasia.

I think i t is absolutely gorgeous though!!

It sounds okay. A church member named their first Tasia. I don't know about Melody as a middle name. Marie sounds better if she wants to stay in the M's.

Ooo-that's pretty. I like it! Yes it will be mispronounced a lot but it's still VERY pretty. And Melody is the perfect middle name to go with that!
