I am in a small village about 25 miles from London. On a clear day, we can see the tower at Canary Wharf. Living this close to London is great. We can visit the metropolis with ease because the transport links are very good and we can usually get there in less than 20 minutes. Theatres, Restaurants and superb shopping facilities, all practically on our doorstep. I think we have the best of both worlds, a lovely quiet little village full of 'olde worlde' charm and the bustling, noisy, wonderful city of London! ♥

I live near Raleigh, NC
I really haven't gotten a lot of time to get to know the area as much. But I do know it's very spread out and I feel like I am far from things. But really the roads have high speed limits so it's a lot closer than I think. I like the area and how there are new jobs coming in. I also like how it's not so crammed and crowded.

We are mad for it & we are easily recognised when it comes to the accent.. You would never & will never meet any nationality as friendly but also trained in sticking up for once self than those from Manchester.. Even the pidgeons think they are well hard round here.. lol

I live in Leicestershire and it is a bit tacky, has got worse over the years and if we can help it, we will not be bringing our children up here. Too rough and I grew up round here and saw way too much.
