My husbands brother is cheating on his wife, she knows that he could possible be cheatin cause he is stayin out late, but i know for a fact and i know the girl he's cheatin with. I feel really bad for her because she wants it to work but deep in her heart she knows he is cheating. Everyone knows except her,but i don't think she would tell me if my husband was cheating.

I understand since you probably feel like the middle person. I had a friend who was cheating on his wife who was also my friend. I wanted to tell her about it, but I chose to let her find out herself. I think there are more stories behind the closed door, and it's the best to leave them take care their own issue.

If there is a way to let her know anonymously (she wouldn't know it was you), then definitely yes. All the previous responses about you catching grief for telling her directly are true; don't get caught in the middle. Find some way to let her know, but I wouldn't ever tell her you knew for sure and didn't tell, because you'll be the bad guy in that instance also. Maybe mail her a typed letter with no return address suggesting she look into his activities, or the girl he's cheating with. This is a tough situation with no happy ending, so good luck whatever you decide.

Stay out of it. She's going to find out for sure eventually anyway. It's probably best that she not know that she is the last to know. Why add the humiliation to an already humiliating scenario. Your husband should tell his brother to grow up and stop stepping all over the heart of someone who swore (as did he) in front of God and everyone to forsake all others before him. He needs a smack upside the head.

Spilling the beans is usually a very bad idea. Even more when the issue is in the family. If you spill the beans, your sister in law will accuse him of this and that and your name is very likely to be mentioned. They will fight and then reconcile (she suspects but decides to look the other way. If she were any smarter, she would have confronted the situation earlier) and you end up looking like the breaker instead of the concerned sister in law.

I would tell her. Because its not just that he is cheating what if he doesn't use protection or some thing and ends up giving her a disease then you would feel really bad. She probably wants to get on with her life any ways.

you know that is really tough , i have been there myself with my sister. her husband was cheating and i new, only told my mom, when she finally found out i was to blame! now we don't talk, and she is still with the guy and he ended up having a kid with the women. i think they know deep down, they just don't want to believe it, then when it hits them they strike at whoever is the one they feel embarrassed them that would be the one who told. or didn't tell. know don't tell.

let her find out for herself about it, as its family, u have to deal with this family, would she really believe u anyway, or would u become just the trouble maker who caused the divorce. your sister in law needs to follow her intuition, maybe if u know the girl he is cheating with, u could talk to her, get her to stop it.

Tell her before too late.
Don't wait to tell her.
She will think you are stabbing her back if you don't tell her soon.
