The ultimate experience depends on what you do, but learning the ins and outs of how to manipulate the various elements of the explorer helps you become a power surfer and can enhance the experience, such as right-clicking on links for example.
Beyond the beginner's activities, it might not hurt to learn a little bit about coding, but really a lot of practice will also teach you how web sites generally work and once you know this you can use that to your advantage and it gets better with time.

i would prefer to use Mozilla Firefox than the Internet Explorer.
this is because firefox is a faster browser the IE...
most viruses are designed to focus on IE, which makes firefox a lot safer. mac is also safer, but not user-friendly : you'd get lost if you're used to the IE environment.
i dunno bout the latest IE though, i haven't tried it. like who has, it has a very high requirement. geezz....
