Pride is seen in Hollywood & politics. And usually the two go hand in hand! Especially since the people in Hollywood think we really are supposed to care what they think. No war for oil? Do you think if oil went up to $20 a gallon that the rich in Hollywood would really have a problem paying for it? Probably not, but we, the "little people" would. I know you didn't ask for all this but Hollywood's pride makes them think that we are supposed to care what they think when they live in a totally different world than the rest of us. Of course if you are a George W. hater, you could also draw parallels between him and the war. Again, not that Hollywood, George W. or the war have anything to do with Pride and Prejudice...but those are all examples of pride today.

could be cool to try to write pride and prejudice using hip hop, and the music industry.
