Definitely one thing to expect is a lot of DRUGS, sometimes bad stuff, don't buy anything there. Other things to expect is extremely loud techno, trance and house music. They might have crazy wacked out videos going on throughout the party, so that people who are tripping will enjoy it. For the most part raves are filled with a lot of people high on X and in there own world, so you'll most likely be surrounded by loving, touchy feely, high people. As for what you should wear, If you have any clothes that you own but never really wear them because you feel maybe they are to extreme, this is the time to wear them! Also, wear all the glitter you can to the rave! One more thing, be really careful where ever you go. I hope you have a good time. I use to go alot about 10 years ago so they might be a little different but for the most part I think there still the same:)

Expect that almost everyone is on e, and if they aren't they're on k, meth, coke, mushrooms or acid. :) Drugs drugs drugs... Luckily this means you don't have to care what you wear too much, everyone's too high to really judge you properly anyways. Just wear whatever you're comfortable with, as long as it's not preppy because if you look like a prep people may be somewhat hostile, not overtly though! People at raves are usually fairly friendly due to being on so much e. If you have clothes that are more alternative (goth, punk, whatever) than others wear those, but don't force it.
People are also very cracked-out at raves compared to the average population. Lots of drug addicts, mental patients, ghetto kids with really traumatic pasts and weird social skills, etc. If you do e, DON'T TRUST ANYONE YOU DIDN'T KNOW BEFORE! Lots of people do e, go home with someone they just met thinking that it's their new best friend ever, then realise the next day that they probably caught AIDS or something...
If you're going to dance you should really take that into account... rave dancing is very high-energy, it's more like a workout than other types of dancing. So wear something comfortable and baggy pants.

depends on whether u do grugs/alcohol! if not....prepared to be real tired and have a big headache!
