I love brand name clothing, but I mean, I won't die if I wear target brand jeans. I actually like SOME of target's jeans. I'm not fond of their other clothing, but hey I can go there, get a new pair of pretty good looking jeans (for target), get a new cd, and my clear nail polish all at one place. Pretty nifty.

Absolutely. Being gay or straight doesn't define who you are as a person. Chances are you would still lean towards the finer things in life and take a great deal of pride in your appearance and apparel. Hence the term Metrosexual.. while vastly over used and has now lost its appeal, those same straight men enjoy the luxuries that us gay men have been stereotyped to use.

So, don't second guess yourself. Yes, you would still be a trendsetter and turning heads!

I think people like to be in on something .. styles, fads, trends no matter what their sexuality. Designer duds are purely subjective.

I shop at Target. I shop on Rodeo. I shop at those secondhand stores on Melrose. I have a personal shopper at Neiman's in Vegas. I think as long as you find something that you like ... its cool. I guess what I am saying is don't let the clothes wear you .. you wear the clothes.

BE REAL ABOUT IT!

One more thing: I think also that what you do as a profession may play a part in how you dress. Or whatever social setting you are in.

Not worth it. Save money. It's like high school when all the "cool" kids wore a certain clothing item

Sorry, I don't find that being silly enough to buy into marketing ideas and advertising gimmicks as a necessary thing. A fool and his money are soon partying.

Probably, I don't see why straight or gay makes you more into fashion.
