Any suggestions on what to take to do for a 12 hour drive?
Tommorrow morning me and my family are going on a 12 hour drive. I have 3 books and my mp3 player [i read fast] [im 15]. What else can I take to do?? PLEASE HELP.. thanks

Read your books, but not to much (take breaks you may experience carsickness). Bring some water and food to snack on.
Talk with your family, one trip my dad had driven a lot that day and I quizzed him (I was in 6th grade and my 5th grade teacher got me interested in the Civil War) so I quizzed my dad the entire 3 hours. I wouldn't recommend that.
But I would talk with your parents, try to learn some things, ask questions, enjoy the scenery. I travel a lot by buses because I play sports (last year I had atleast 5+ 13 hour trips [one 17 hours], a lot of the time I spent looking out the window enjoying what was around me.

Here are the things you'll need on a road trip:
A trip to the bathroom before you go
Food (snacks, luchabells, cold pasta) I reccomend eating before you go still
Liquids (juice, WATER, ect.)
Cell phone, you'll need to talk to somebody besides your family
Homework
Pillows (two or three so you can take a nap)
Blankets (one or two, to help sleep)
Money (To spend at hte final location, or at a gas station to get a snack)
Extra Gas (for your parents if the car is low on gas, and a gas station isn't nearby, so you can open the trunk and get some)
Camera (you can take pics while in the car)
Mini DVD player
There are TONS of things to take, but here is a list on what NOT to take:
Soda (not a good juice, too much flavorings, and you can get car sick)
Breakable food containers
Sleeping Bags (leave it for a camping trip)

How many people are in the car.
1) Look for license plates from every state.
2) Find the alphabet in signs
3) Find one particular sign and see how many there are

6, Count Cows see a black one start over.
