how can someone who can sing like sundance did get booted off and someone who did so pooly every single week like sanjaya stay in this week i have to admit he sounded better but still and to be honnest i have liked the bald guy until this week he was awful and yet he is still here. and y did it take this long to get rid of antonella? she never could sing she never should have been in this i think its more about looks anymore. you watch even though its clear that lekisha or melinda should get it because one is heavy and the other not very pretty they will not make it either it just makes me sooooo mad. do you all agree?

Yep, I agree with most of what you said. Antonella stayed w-a-a-y too long! Bald Phil is good but wasn't this week. Sanjay needs to go but he's still here because young people are really hung up on the "hindi" culture right now. Sundance was pretty good but was lousy this week. Melinda and Lekisha (my favorite) are the best, I think, I still think one of them will be the next idol, unless Phil moves up the ranks....
Sanjaya thinks he's the next Michael Jackson.
Heartsca...Foreign countries have no reason to hate us. For years, America has been the most generous country having given billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid.
Idol made an announcement this evening that much of the $$ is going to go to Africa (and some here in the U.S.) lol
Those phone votes do not make the final decision. People are kidding themselves if they don't think controversy (Antonella) and other factors don't go into it.

Shut Up I voted for Lakisha and Paul stacey so feeling Good right now, Sanjaya maybe a Poor Singer but a Nice Young Man too, so think People want to feel them, Antonella and Sundance they Pissed Off Simon and the Rest of America Labeling this Show Racist, Best if they go home because they're Bad for Show.

Can anyone say, "run-on sentence?" Wow. I haven't been able to watch this much this season, but Sundance is very inconsistent. Some days he sounds great, but others he sounds strained, unhealthy and amateurish. Sanjaya has a lovely instrument, but doesn't have the charisma or staying power. He'll go soon, but perhaps in a few years he'll have the maturity to do better. I'd say beauty is subjective. I think Melinda is darling. Reuben was about as heavy as they come. I think it was part of his charm, unhealthy as it is/was. So I suppose I agree with very little you said. Either way, it's just for fun. So I don't get soooooooo mad. The worst I get is a sigh and a roll of the eyes.

Friends vote for friends as many times as they wish and some work their fingers to the bone doing it. Sanjaya is going to have a very rude awakening if he should go all the way because of his friends-they will be the only ones buying his records. Can't make a living or win an award that way.
23 million watched and 32 million voted-what is strange about that? Shouldn't the figures be closer to 23 million? You want someone to stay because they are a great singer then work your fingers to the bone.

If easily everyone could vote for the president by technique of telephone and without registering, like they do on American Idol, then more suitable human beings could likely vote in elections. If American Idol required you to be a minimum of 18 and registered, then no man or woman can vote in it. undesirable analogy.

I think Sanjaya should have went home....but it's a good thing that Antonella's gone, as well as Sabrina. Sundance is unfortunate however. And Phil is good I think.

The thing that's wrong with the people voting for american idol is that they don't have the common sense to see that their spare dollars could do so much more if they would put it towards something worthwhile. Like, oh, I don't know, a fund to cure diseases, or relief for the people in Iraq, or Doctors Without Borders, or pretty. much. anything. else. whatsoever.
But no, you're right, it's much more important to spend the money keeping sundance from getting booted off, or getting "sanjaya" off of a television show. I must be crazy, you're totally right, it's way more important. And foreign countries are so wrong for hating us.

i agree with this season's american idol voting system. i think it's a popularity contest and they are keeping antonella because of the scandalous pictures that are posted everywhere on the internet and as for the really good ones being booted it's not really a bad thing. look at chris daughtry for example. he is doing well on the charts.
