Are you even joking when you compare the two together. Mortal Kombat evolved to what it is today from nothing but tekken is just a silly little rip off so the makers of tekken would get some dough like midway

Mortal Kombat is a more of a gore fest. There's some interesting finishing moves and the like.
Now Tekken, has always been consistent. Flowing movement, realistic movement and fast. Lots to unlock as well.
My vote is for Tekken series.

I have to say Mortal Kombat!! I remember when i used to kick everybodys butt with Barracuda.

tekken for realism, mk for the "stuff"
i've been a mk fan for along time
i even have the original MK for SNES
