You need to put the cleaner in the ears then squash and squish the ear around so the cleaner loosens up any debris, Clean with a Cotton ball on your finger. Put a Cotton ball over you finger and put your finger down in his ear and clean around. As far as a bath, just keep the soap our of his eyes and the water out of his ears. Beagles are hound dogs and tend to smell like hound dogs. As well as howling they also smell like hound dogs and require frequent baths. I hope this helped.

they only need a bath about every 6 to 8 weeks if they are outside a lot. as to cleaning the ears do you mean in side of the ears or do you mean the ear leathers. just use a wash cloth and warm water. you can buy a bowl that is made so the ears go on outside of the bowl not in the bowl.

Clean their ears with a puppy bath wipe. Getting water in their ears can cause infections.
