i hv to do a mock meeting next week and i got the position as a human resource manager. so what does they do in general?

An HR manager is in charge of hiring and firing employess (or oversee an HR staff that does). They are also usually in charge of handling disciplinary actions, company benefits, and creating company policies in compliance with the laws, then enforcing them.

if you are in a meeting....the hr manager can talk about training initiatives of employees, talk about the any new benefits, hires and fires - retention efforts or recruitment efforts, new legislative that affects the workplace.
