Where are you now?
I live in Texas. My city has some of the lowest living expenses in the United States. I would say southeastern and midwest states are definitely cheaper, having lived in Texas, Arkansas, Washington, and California.

Texas is cheap and you don't pay state taxes. Outside of Houston is pretty cheap and the beach is only a few hours away. I live in Corpus Christi and the only problem with it is that it is in a hurricane zone so once a year we have to evacuate.

I love California~ although the living cost is a little high i love it!! you can always find a job that pays well!! you cant beat it. you can drive to the mountains, desert and the beach all in one day lol

I've lived in Illinois, Florida, Arizona and Hawaii and of everywhere, Arizona is my absolute favortie place to live. Its affordable, beautiful, warm/hot and reasonable as far as cost of living.

CALIFORNIA! the cliame is diverse and there is a huge variety of landscapes. u can fulfill ur dreams and hopes here. you can raise children in a small, quite farm, or a friendly, chatty city. plus, we got san francisco and arnold schwarzenegger (however u spell it)

don't move to California, everything it so expensive compared to other state. and its not even that great of a place to live.
