It really helps if you scream. If you hold your breathe it will make you feel worse.

I used to be scared of roller coasters too, but eventually I got talked into riding one, and I loved it! There's really nothing you can do to make the feeling from the drop go away, but doing things like screaming and closing your eyes can help you take your mind off of it. You should start out with the smaller roller coasters and work your way up, and make sure to ride them when there's a short line (the shorter the line, the less time to freak out).
Something that helps me is to look at pictures and videos of the rides ahead of time, so I know what to expect. http://www.sixflags.com/pick_a_park1.asp (pick the Six Flags you're going to) and http://www.rcdb.com usually have some good pictures of the roller coasters. You can usually find videos of the rides on Youtube.

You'll be scared and nervous before going on them. Afterwards, you should be happy you did. The one ride that I will never go on again is drop-zone because that feeling in your stomach is so intense compared to the others, and plus they tease you by just dangling you from the top which causes me anxiety. But the other rollercoasters aren't as bad for that stomach feeling. That feeling ends rather fast and you are just getting slammed around. I love them. Just muster up some courage, you'll be happy you did.

Just sit tight and try not to crap your pants. Look ahead so you can see the track ahead of you. If you close your eyes quick twists and drop will scare the crap out of you less if you know they're coming.
