well it is depends on what you need, foundation?eyeshadow?blush?lip gloss or skin care?

there is alot of make up reviews, you will find in foundation and skin care, clinique's rating is higher than mac, but in pressed powder, blush, eyeshadow mac rating is higher.

Scientifically, makeup is not good for your skin, it actually ages you faster.. but, let's not talk about that for now...
Clinique likes to think it's the answer to everyone's skin issues, but it's just like any other brand. Check the ingredients.. alcohol, witchazel.. just like anything in the drugstore that you may find. I find their products to be quite drying and well.. boring. I own a few select colors of lipgloss that I love, but those are discontinued now.. whee!!!
MAC is great if you love makeup. If you want to play and you like colors, then MAC is probably for you. A lot of people have the misconception that their products will break you out, but that is not true. It depends on what you buy and how you apply it and wash it off. MAC has great skincare (only just recently) and I love their oil cleanser for removing all traces of makeup.
Either way, I believe that MAC is pretty superior when it comes to cosmetics, I've never been a fan of a brand like Clinique that uses a q-tip instead of brushes for makeup application.

I swear by Clinique. I have acne problems and have tried tons of makeup. Clinique not only didn't make me break out, but it has helped to clear up the problems that I had. I only use Clinique now for all of my makeup needs.

Clinique has better foundations and skin-care products but MAC has better color cosmetics. You have to know what you're doing with MAC, though - they're very pigment-dense and you can look like a clown if you apply too heavily.

I like Clinique's foundation. I like Mac for its eye colors.

i think the two brands of cosmetics are comparable. but it really depends on the specific products...i think mac's selection of colors is better than clinique. also, mac lip products are reasonably priced compared to clinique.

Well, I hate MAC foundations, they are HORRIBLE. They're cakey and way too thick. However I like their funky eyeshadows. But overall, I like Clinique make up better because it is fresh and classy and a better product.

I thinl clinque is better.Its cheaper and better for your skin but i have to admit i love mac eyeshadows !

MAC for colour, they are very vivid and don't fade out , BUT Clinigue for skin care , i swear by it, and i am always complmented on my skin .
