Okay so you know you start out at 20 gallons, since the pool is being drained the slope will be negative (think of slope as how quickly something changes)

Use this formula
Slope = change in Y / change in X
Slope =[ (20*5/8) - (20*1/4)] / ( 0 - 5)

Now add in the initial state of the pool:
y = [ (20*5/8) - (20*1/4) ]/ ( 0 - 5) + 20 gallons

There is a drop of (5/8-2/8) = 3/8th over a period of 5 hours.
Thus The time to empty the entire pool is 8/3 * 5 = 40/3 hours.
Thus Every hour 3/40th of the pool is drained.
Thus at any instant t, the amount remaining would be 3/40 * t * 20000 t varies from 0 to 40/3.
Now, I am not sure what ur question is, but the answer u'll be able to make out now with this input.

i donot be attentive to approximately tht equation i will xplain it my way first there will be 20 gallons of answer with 80% water and 20% alcohol then from here in a million min 2 gallons of answer is drained then 18 gallons would be left + 3 gallons of answer 50 % alcohol and 50percentwater then this answer turns into 21 gallons with 65percentwater and 35percentalcohol in spite of this after 2 min it turns into 19 gallons of answer + 3 gallons of pumping answer then it turns into 22 gallons of 57.5% of water and 40 two.5% of alcohol like this it follows then after 10 min the answer turns into 30 gallons with 40 9.97percentalcohol and 50.03percentwater i donot be attentive to a thank you to do with formula and if u locate it thrilling then email me greater of ur doubts
