When we recieved the car the employee didnt have it cleaned and it had coffee spilled in it and was disgusting then when we returned it there is a small dent in the hood that can only be seen in the sunlight and from afar, and they are saying it is our fault, but we didnt do it nor did we see it cause it was cloudy the day we picked it up, and the mgr. is saying that her employees are never wrong and could not have missed the dent cause they seen the scratches on the bumper, nut yet he missed the interior being dirty and they are going to fix it prior to anyone on our behalf viewing it, yet we are supposed to pay for it What you do!!!!

Always get the insurance they offer.
I mean really how much is it?... $10-$20.
And always beat the piss out of it.
That way you're sure to get your moneys worth.

Unfortunately, you have little recourse because its your word against theirs, and of course the manager will prefer to believe her staff.

You can protest, but I doubt the higher-ups will bother to intervene.

You can file a lawsuit, but you'll be spending mucho bucks, and mucho tiempo, without any guarantee of victory.

The only way to avoid this is to meticulously check out the vehicle before you drive off the lot, and report damage no matter how trivial to the guard at the gate; he will fill in a form that will record the problem, then you're off the hook.

Sorry for the misfortune, but it really was your responsibility to check the car out thoroughly.

i own a shop ,and this time you,ll probably get stuck with paying for it,let me offer you some good advice never rent a car from enterprise ,they will do you like this and it don't bother them at all,i always use Avis ,they do a thorough inspection of the car before you get it so this doesn't happen to you ever,id say you might as well pay for it,and not say a lot about it,because they probably didn't have you sign a inspection sheet on it before you rented it,so this basically means your stuck with the bill on this one, sorry but true, good luck,i hope this helps.

Sounds like you will get stuck with this one. I would never have rented the car being in that condition. I have always gone to a car dealership for my rentals and never had a problem. Lots of luck.

If you bought insurance when you rented the car that will take care of it if not contact your insurance agent and they will take care of it for you. Good luck!

Depending on how much they want it may be cheaper just to pay them - providing you did not buy insurance when rented it.
