A noob or n00b is someone that lacks intellegance or common sense, most people think that noob is a word used only in the online gaming world, but in reality it is becoming an ever popular word with teenage society.
a noob could be simply a level 100 running round shouting ''WTF DO I GO!?'' or someone calling someone else a noob and then getting hit with a brick, anyone can call anyone a noob, but normally they are noobs themselves

Noob can mean someone that is a total ******** (scams, plays people, etc) in a game or can be another word for newb which means a newer player, lower class.
Depends which game you're playing. Different games have different meanings.
Some people also refer to short speak like (lyk, w8, u, etc) as "noob speak".
BTW "Noob" doesn't "stand" for anything.

A new person to the game, but don't worry most people are called noobs until they reach lvl 40 or higher in a game.

It stands for an annoying player, or a bad one.
Don't get it confused with newb, which means you're a new player.
Other ways to say it = nub, noob, nab, n00b, nablet, nublet, choob, froob, etc.
