5x - 4x = -6x + 3
x = -6x + 3
x + 6x = -6x + 3 + 6x
7x = 3
x = 7/3
Unless one of those is suppose to be an x^2.

5x - 4x = -6x + 3
1x = -6x + 3
1x + 6x = 3
7x = 3
x = (3/7)
Check:
5*(3/7) - 4*(3/7) = -6(3/7) + 3
(15/7) - (12/7) = (-18/7) + (21/7)
(3/7) = (3/7)
