For that kind of mp3 player, I have two suggestions. The mp3 player I have is a Samsung T9 (2 GB for $150 or 4 GB for $200). This player works excellently, and plays many kinds of music files, pictures, videos, text, radio and games. I also like that this one can display visualizations while music is playing. My next suggestion is the iRiver Clix. this player is about $20 more than the Samsung, but has a larger screen and other features, and is a very popular model with both users and websites. It plays basically everything the T9 can. You could also (sigh) get an iPod like everyone else. But these only work with iTunes, have small screens, and nanos, which are what you would be looking at, can't play video.

locate an mp3 participant that makes use of AA batteries. that's the desirable in view for you to pay attention plenty longer and you do no longer ought to recharge the battery. no longer something is greater problematic than having 739 songs around your neck teasing you with their silence from needing to be recharged for yet another 8 hours. My Panasonic makes use of AA battery and lasts 80 hours. maximum ipods final a fragment of that then needs recharging. i do in comparison to ipods by way of fact they're inconvenient, yet they do have mind-blowing type and are trouble-free for some people. i think of each gadget is easy, yet this is by way of fact i'm a self proclaimed nerd.

YP-T9, YP-K5, ZenV or ZenVplus
Best thing to do is to wait for the Iriver U20 or the new Sansa to be available in US. U20 is available in Korea already, and will be in US soon. The new Sansa is coming out in the 3 quarter of the year, i think.
