Heard on the news today, about a cow over in India that has been eating a farmers chickens alive. I thought cows were strictly herbivorous.

Although cows will eat many things put in front of them, attacking a live animal would be rare.
About 2 doz free range chickens are running around my back acre with 4 cows and a bull and I don't think any have been 'cow lunch' yet.
Of course if an animal is starving, all bets are off . . .
Better toss them some extra hay manana !
