Students with a record of disruptiveness should not be able to attend unless they can prove that they have shown improvement. That was the system we had at our school.

Parental permission must also be given.

It really depends on the situation. First they need to have all the paperwork signed(permission slips). My rule is
NO PERMISSION SLIP, NO FIELD TRIP! And that does not mean some hand written note because it will not cover the school if something happens. Then of course behavior is always a consideration. I would have to have some documation for not allowing a student to go. Otherwise it just looks like I dont like that student. Good Luck

No. Unfortunately, some students have behavior problems that prohibit them from being taken on field trips. While the ideal is fantastic - kids need experiences - sometimes the risks are too great. Teachers and schools do not want to be given bad reputations for going to a public place and having the kids act a fool.The alternative to not taking them would be requiring a parent to chaperone the child.

No, because if they are a distraction to the class all year long than they should not get a reward like the rest who work hard to do well and control themselves.

No, b/c why should we let the ISS kids go.. their in ISS- in school suspension- for a reason.
