It depends on the day and time you choose to travel. If it is not commute time you can drive it in 2 hours. It is quicker to drive 280/680 over the Benicia Bridge and connect to 80 rather than going through Tracy/Stockton.

About 2 hours, but there can be a lot of traffic that makes it take longer, ESPECIALLY on Friday afternoon and evening when everyone goes up that way to the mountains. Amtrak takes about 3 hours, no traffic.

Two hours according to mapquest. However, it would also be dependant on where in Sacramento you are going as well as the time of day and day of the week.

I guess it depends when you are planning on going. Took me 3 and a half hours on a Friday during rush hour...do not recommend this...unless you're not in a hurry...and you like traffic...
