Hmmmm, bet you can't walk on that sidewalk without falling off. Drawing a picture would help.
Your sidewalk looks like a rectangular donut. The inside dimensions are 22 meters by 11 meters. The outside dimensions would be 22.06 meters by 11.06 meters. The area would be the area of the outside(22.06 x 11.06) - the area of the inside (22 x11)

I do not believe your question is correct. An inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters. This means that your sidewoalk is just over an inch wide. No one builds sidewalks this narrow. I believe your problem has a typographical error in it and so any answer you get will not be correct for the problem. I hope you consider this a response to your question.

i converted everything into centimeters

2200 x 1100 = 2420000

2203 x 1103 = 2429909

2429909 - 2420000 = 9909

THE AREA OF THE SIDEWALK IS 9909 SQUARE CENIMETERS
