I have a 2001 Kia Rio. How can I fix the dome switch?

first pull the cover off the dome light, ok, now you going to see i want to say 2 screew, remove them the dome light will drop down,, now remove the wire an , find one at a car part store are a uns junk yard, the replace it.

I'm not real sure but most of them you can gently pry off the lense and be able to see the rest of the switch. then take a pen or pencile or something if you can't get your finger on it and push it over to where it'll at least come on with the door open. I wouldn't think a new dome light assembly would be very expensive, and it should only have a couple of screws to remove...hope I helped...good luck

there'll be 2 wires to the perimeters of the change and a million cord going to the framework of the change even if it truly is grounded. the floor cord will be bare. turn off the breaker, eliminate the change and tape up the ends of the wires "black and white" . once the wires are taped up with electric powered tape you are able to turn on the breaker again with none threat. Then day after today you are able to get a clean change. turn off the breaker and placed the wires again like they were on the former activate the hot one.. wish this enables.

lucky you if it was on it would drain your battery shop at a place that sells KIA switches
