Dinosaurs first appeared about 230 million years ago. They went extinct about 65 million years ago. So they reigned for roughly 110 million years.
The answer to your question pertaining humans depends on your definition of human. Neandertals are considered by some scientists to be a subspecies of Homo sapiens. Others classify them as Homo neanderthalensis, as opposed to Homo sapiens neanderthalensis.
If you consider all of the "Homo" genus to be human, then the oldest fossils of the first known human was Homo erectus, which are about 2.4 million years old. That doesn't mean that they instantly appeared at that time, of course, but that is the oldest known fossil evidence of their existance.
If you consider only Homo sapiens to be human, then the oldest known H. sapiens fossil is about 150,000 years old, found in Ethiopia. This fossil is the oldest modern human ever found. However, many of the traits that seperate us from other members of the Genus Homo began evolving about 400,000 years ago.

Dinosaurs lived for 45 million years during the Triassic, for 55 million years during the Jurassic and for 65 million years during the Cretaceous. That is a total of 165 million years. Humans have had the same brain size as they have today for about 100,000 years, although humans and apes split off from a common ancestor about 6 million years ago.

Humans and Dinosaurs lived together before the comet killed the Dinosaurs. When god made the earth, he made Adam and Eve. We are from them. We did not come from Apes or one single cell. The lord up in heaven made us.
The earth is 6,000 years. I heard that he made the earth with age. They have divcoery (Sp?) a T-Rex track and in it, was a human helmet. I think that God made Dinosaurs when he made the earth.
