I'm looking for a site with lots of pictures so i can compare it to the one i caught outside and find out what kind it is.

just as a general that might get you in the ballpark you can google lizards then go to images. you can look at the pictures and find the one closest then google that and try to find the exact match. you also might describe it and get some ideas from these guys and gals here they are a pretty bright bunch of people.

It would be helpful if we had an idea of the geographic location.

Try googling (your state/country/province) + lizards + photo - this will narrow your search down if you want to look yourself.
