I'd go with Amare. It's hard to find goos all-around centers nowadays. Marion is a common commodity. There's Josh Smith, Josh Howard, LeBron James, Anthony, and VC. It's easy to find people who are either as good or better than Maion. It's much harder to find centers that are as good or better than Stoudemire.

Depends on who else you have on your team for example the Lakers could use Marion more assuming all their players were healthy but a team like the Nets could use Amare Stoudemire.

Well Marion is 4 years older but I'd still rather have him than Amare. He's a better defender and commits fewer turnovers. Plus Shawn's arguably the MVP this year.

Amare

rather have the 20 and 10 power forward who can play center in an up tempo style and shoots 55%-60%

Low post game and Marion seems to choke in the playoffs

i watch the suns, so personally i would want both (lol)! but if i had to choose 1, id go with shawn for a few reason:
1. hes one of my favorite players EVER
2. hes one of the best defenders to come out of the small forward position ive seen in a long time
3. hes one of the most versatile players ive ever seen: he can dunk, block, rebound, handle the ball (but suirprisingly hes a TERRIBLE passer), shoot the 3, and he can change the tempo of a game using almost everything i just stated!!!

the fact of the matter is, he IS the franchise player of the suns, because hes the type of player that comes out once every 10 years, and the suns cant afford to give him up. i think that he and nash are the two players that can turn an easy suns W into an L if theyre out, and thats what shows the signs of a great player.

Marion is a much better overall player, but it is hard to go against a good all around center. So i would go with Amare

much rather have Amare, if youre playing small ball he can play center and get out on the break, he could also post up on a smaller forward, as well as rebound with all the big but slower power forwards...
