I frequently read on here people bashing fox because they are conservative. To those of you who feel that way, do you not feel that the other networks are too libral? Or is Libralism the "facts" now?

I believe Fox news is the only channel you can get a good debate from the libs and cons. The only channel who reports facts, not opinions. The only channel that at least tries. Yes, they have their cons with opinions, but not when they are reporting news, those are columnists who state right up front that what they are saying is opinion. CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS all give the same type of opinion but actually report it as "the news". Let's here your thoughts, and unless you can back it up with some intelligence, don't just say Fox is stupid, that's a typical Libral answer. Put some thought into it or don't bother replying.

After five or six answers, I can tell the libs easily. They are the ones with quick wit and intelligence "stop watching" "You missed your guess", "unbiased opinion is worth nothing". Come on guys, we are talking about news, not opinion. We are talking about reporting facts, not distorting figures. Who really does a better job? Or does anyone. Should we be watching the BBC? How about that Al Jazeer?

You are so wrong. Fox ignores news that it deems to be hurtful to the Republicans. Case in point the Scooter Libby trial. Fox reported very little on this very important issue to Americans. All other channels gave updates on the trial as it unfolded but Fox completely ignored it. Even after the guilty verdicts came in Fox only briefly mentioned it that day and then quickly dismissed it. Yet it gave us two weeks of Anna Nicole Smith. There are so many more examples of this. The recent mess at Walter Reed Hospital is another one. Fox hardly mentioned this story for weeks after it broke, only giving it attention when Bush was forced to deal with it. The list goes on and on. Fox news outright lied about the Obama/Hillary story by accusing the Clinton camp of making up the story about Obama's madras schooling. It is yellow journalism at it's worst and Fox should not be able to call itself a news channel.

Rupert Mudock has recently admitted that he attemped to sway public opinion towards the war in an interview with Charlie Rose, but all media is corporatly owned and contolled. If you want real media go to www.prisonplanet.com and ask yourself why you have not heard of everything going on. For example, do you find it a problem that anna nivole smith is the biggest story and that the hollaway story is still being talked about, what is it now day 813. It was sad, but that happens everyday. How does o'reilly and hannity report facts, is that some kind of joke? Yes, PBS does have the best debates and is the only station that i can even tolerate on TV.

"The only channel who reports facts, not opinions." see right there is your first problem, there are very few FACTS on Fox, they have distorted more than any other network, you seem to think that reality is something you can choose or not, well sorry reality is just that, or have we already forgotten the Obama went to a Madrassa story or the Fox chyron's saying dumb crap like Libbey Not Guilty where exactly are the facts there my friend? NON EXISTENT but ell let's not let that get in the way of our hearing what we want instead of what we'd like to believe hey?

It is sad but most "news" channels have a certain bias inherent in their reporting. However, Fox News is so blatantly bias towards conservative views that it is laughable. I think that CNN's Wolf Blitzer is the best at presenting news in an objective manner (although he is very boring to listen to) and offer the most "opposing" views. Fox degrades people who show a different view other than the right-winged agenda of the Bush administration.

Here's one;

While it would seem that misperceptions are derived from a failure to pay attention to the news, in fact, overall, those who pay greater attention to the news are no less likely to have misperceptions. Among those who primarily watch Fox, those who pay more attention are more likely to have misperceptions. Only those who mostly get their news from print media have fewer misperceptions as they pay more attention.

The level of misperceptions varies according to Americans’ political positions. Supporters of President Bush and Republicans are more likely to have misperceptions.
