Puck was over the line(replay shows it) but the ref said it did not so the rule states no replay. Don't feel bad,at least it wasn't the stanley cup finals and his skate was in the crease!

Take off your Potvin jersey for a minute and consider the facts.

* The play was called a no-goal by the ref which meant a reversal would necessitate an incontrovertible replay. Despite the announcers' whinings, such replay was never found.

* The ENTIRE puck has to pass the goal line for there to be a goal. You never saw white between the puck and the goal line. The one angle that looked promising for your side was at ice level and could not determine whether or not the puck had passed the plane of the goal, only that it was partially on edge and nothing more.

* Blame Chris Simon for putting your beloved team in that spot to start with. The game was headed to OT before that half-wit decided to decapitate Hollweg.

The two sides square off two more times, so you'll have more opportunities to unleash your biased rage.

You on dots? I saw the same play and did not see the puck go all the way over the line. Toronto is headquarters for replays and they get feeds from all cameras at that game. If you do not know where Toronto is, it is in ONTARIO CANADA!

i thought this was addressing something serious, like the marty mcscorely-esque slash to the face. Anyways, you have a problem with the NHL centralizing the goal judges in one spot, fine, but it makes the calls consistent. There are no flip-floppers on the issues, and they are all qualified people or they wouldn't be there. In the future please don't insult my country, I don't insult yours and its not too difficult with the press conferences from the white house.

Get in line. Toronto has been stealing goals from the hawks all season.

Excuse me? Are you actually trying to tell me that Americans know more about hockey than Canadians? I don't know what planet you live on, but it is obviously not earth. Canada always has been, and always will be, better at hockey than the U.S. Just because there are more teams in the U.S. (24) than in Canada (6) does not mean that Americans automatically know more about hockey, that is a financial issue where the American dollar is worth more than the Canadian dollar, so I suggest you just don't talk about hockey ever again, because you obviously don't know anything about hockey if you are saying that Americans are better than Canadians in hockey.
