What are the important subjects shall a trainee at a new job write about for his boss in a daily report?

I am a new employ, and my boss ask me to write him a daily report. Shall I talk about every thing I face in a day of work, only about that training program, what I have learned so far, or some thing else. Please guide me. One more thing, about the format of this report, shall it have a certain format of deal with it as a regular report? Thank you.

I'm not an expert in business, but I would assume that every company does daily reports differently and also that different bosses have different preferences. Perhaps you could try talking to other people with similar jobs, or asking your boss for clarification.
