I just got mine done Feb 17.
My stud pops out once in while but even when I put it back in it doesn't hurt.
But I was told 6-8 weeks.
i was also told to put a bit of rubbing alchol on a q-tip to dab it on the holes.
As well she said to use an anti-bacterial waterless gel to help stop infection.

hey i got mine over fiv yrs ago. i got mine in mexico. when you get your nose ring make sure you get a good ring. like the ones that kind of screws in. the post is on a spiral. when i got mine they gave me one with the post that hooked in. so when i went to bed it would hook on my covers and come out. so it took a long time to heal because i kep on disturbing the healing process. once it comes out put it in right away because your hole will close rapidly beleive me. so to answer your question if you have a good ring that stays in it will heal guickly, being that it isnt disturbed. clean w alcohol.
