It was more like a pop song, kind of like a prince song. It wasnt Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes. any song with the title of Kelly in it or actually in the song might help..thanks for the responses

It was a very minor hit in 1982 for Andre Cymone. There was a station in Detroit/Windsor (CKLW) that played that song all the time. Not sure if it it qualified enough as a Canadian Content song, since the group was from the Twin Cities, but they played an edited version of the version found on Youtube -- One refrain and the verse mentioning getting into Kelly's underwear were omitted from the edited version.
It was a great song and took me years to find the song & artist, but I never bought the album. Finally got a copy in 2014.

I think the other posters are right about it being Betty Davis' Eyes. My name is Kelly and I've had that stupid song from Cheers that Woody sang to his girlfriend (Kelly Kelly Kelly You're hair is so cleeeeaaann) sung to me a million times, but no one has ever sung a song about Kelly's eyes to me.
