It would depend upon what kind of government and who was running it. If it was run like a republic, the way this country was supposed to be run, for the people and by the people, then it could be a good thing....but the New World Order want to create a one world government that is basically a Police state, very much like the government in 1984, and that would be an unspeakable nightmare for any of us who don't belong in the ranks of the Global Elite!!!!!!

With as many people and issues, and as few resources, and as little margin of error with regards to international conflicts and management of environmental issues as we have today, a world government of sorts is a necessity. I don't mean anything tyrannical, but more of a strong U.N., which is something we do not have now (if we did, the U.S. invasion of Iraq would have been unequivocally condemned). In an age of nuclear weapons and continued recklessness on the part of world leaders (Naturally, I'm thinking of one in particular), we cannot afford not to have strong countries cooperate to form a body that all members of the world community must be at least somewhat accountable to.

Steven G, you truly are an incredible genius. What a great question to ask. My guess is that one world government will be a reality within a couple of weeks. I sure hope this government isn't forced to be communists in order to prevent the many groups from fighting because they would then be able to take my edible underware away.

How can I say yes enough times? It would be horrible as even in one aspect, human psycology, there is no way that said dictator wouldn't show bias to a certain land or lands. There is also no way ONE person could keep up on the demands of the ENTIRE world. Pardon my religion comment, but no one can play God. Just not possible my dear friend.

Lou Dobbs is one of the smartest men in America.

Personally, I have no problems with a New World Order, but no need to tie it into a conspiracy!

I think it would be good but it must be a progressive and inclusive. You can't reshape the world overnight. Open the doors, make good drink and food available with an honost job and a decent life, and see if they want to sleep together. Mergers are the way things are going anyway. Makes more sense to have one machine instead of many; grinding up against each other.

If the one government is good the its OK but if the government is bad then its a disaster.my opinion, there is no way the world can have one government.
