If a high ranking officialr of the former Iraqi Air force, such as the number 2 man, said they moved WMD to syria, why would you not believe him?

http://www.nysun.com/article/26514

Is it because you don't want it to be true?

---

And please don't say "he's lying to sell books." You would have be an idiot to dismiss his allegations without looking into them.

Strange. A general in Saddam's air force is not a Baathist & is a Christian. Does that make sense to anyone else? I would like to see some independent verification of his standing in Saddam's military first. And if Israeli intelligence knew of this, why didn't Bush/Cheney jump at this as another excuse to go into Iraq?

One thing that would help is to see other media outlets carry the story, since the Sun is well known for shock headlines. Like why wasn't & isn't in the NY Post, a Murdoch owned paper?

What was it Reagan said? Something like "Trust, but verify." I'm waiting to see verification before I climb on board this bandwagon. Just because I don't trust the Bush camp doesn't mean I trust Saddam or Assad at all.

BTW. General Sada was the top General in the Iraqi Air Force, according to the Sun.

Validate the allegations of the former Iraqi Air Force if in fact the WMDs were moved to Syria.

The only thing unbelievable here is that anyone thinks he is credible. This is clearly some sort of deal with our country's administration, in an effort to keep the White House for the Republicans in '08, just like they did in 1980 with Khomeini to undercut Carter. The GOP is so diseased they need to be quarantined. Maybe they can all go live at a certain ranch in Crawford, TX. . . .

Ok, let's say you (and Sada) are correct. Let's say Sada is telling the truth. The WMDs were moved out of Iraq prior to the invasion. That still means that at the time of the invasion, there were no WMDs in Iraq.

Let's forgive that mistake. Let's say Bush et al. were operating on old intelligence, and that it was acceptable to invade Iraq because they USED TO HAVE such weapons.

What does that have to do with staying in Iraq for three years after Saddam was deposed?

Oh, as a side note..... Sada was a guest on Jon Stewart's Daily Show about a year ago, and made the same claims then. So, this is hardly news to many of us. It still doesn't change anything that's happened in the past three years.

So now Saddam's regime is suddenly credible to you?

President George Walker Bush of the United States of America has already conceded that there were no weapons of mass destruction and no evidence of any movement of WMD. Why would you not believe the man whose boots you lick?

I'm sorry, but your source is completely biased. They bash Democrats in their own article. That makes their validity null and void in my eyes. If they had made no attempts to bash the Democrats, I might have taken the seriously. They seem like the printed version of FOX.

In response to your screaming...why would he admit it unless he is getting something in huge in return. If that is the case, no, he could make up anything he likes.
