my hubby and i have been trying to have a baby i been on femara for about 3months and my last 2 periods has been crazy it was like i had a full period for 1 day and then it was light then off it all last week i felt sick in the mornings i didnt throw up just gagging and then today i woke up i have a cold...i was gonna take a pregnancy test but i didnt want to get my hopes up..and i dont bring it up in front of my husband cause he would just get depressed we lost our first in 04....should i wait until april 17th to go to the dr or what should i do

My husband and I lost a baby in '03 at 37 weeks. If I were you, I would call the doctor's office and ask to speak with a nurse. Staying on femara if you are pregnant could harm the baby. The nurse may have suggestions for you or may be able to get you an earlier appointment to figure out exactly what's going on. I can certainly understand about not wanting to take a pregnancy test and get your hopes up. It took my husband and I 2 years to FINALLY get pregnant this time. I'm 16 1/2 weeks right now. I would just suggest living a healthy lifestlye, so that if you do get pregnant, you know you haven't done anything to harm the baby. And, if you're still not pregnant, being healthy will improve your chances. Be sure to take plenty of folic acid too!

Take the test. You don't want to worry until you go see the dr in April. The stress is not good for you and especially if you are pregnant. You could have a crazy period and be pregnant. I know it is hard if the test is negative. But...it WILL happen for you. At the right time. You never know you could be prenant now :) Good Luck

I would take a test now...waiting until April will only stress you out more....Also dont forget it is not uncommon to get false negs. early on..so dont be discouraged...but I would def. take a test to ease the stress a bit.....Good Luck!
