I think it's different from state to state, but that is a serious decision. I think it's really important that you understand what you are doing. I known two people who have had an abortion. One is now a pro-life advocate because she was completely screwed up after what she did. The other NEVER wants to have children now because she can't live with the guilt of what she did and she doesn't think she deserves children. It doesn't just hurt your unborn child, it will completely destroy you.

I'm not going to be judge you. Other people can say what they want but it's not their situation or their life. Anyone can be against abortion when it's not their body and their life. I made the choice to have my daugter and I'm glad I did. Anyway to your answer. In most states it's up to 24 weeks Maryland has certain clinics that will go up to 26 weeks it requires sugery and you can uswally do your follow up in your own home town in about two weeks. California is another state that does what they call " late term" abortions. I will also tell you that if you decide to have the procedure done there is a 24hr wait period in most states after your consult, and when you go you better have your game face on because if yoiu cry or get emotional they WILL NOT do the procedure, espically if they feel like you are being pressured to do so.

im sorry but the fact is your killing a baby that starts forming body parts and organs at 8 weeks old. I went online and it showed imags of abortions of babys at 8 weeks having facial features arms even lil stubby fingers growing. i was all for abortions until i seen that web site. If you dont want it, carry to full term and give it up. wow u certainly asked a bold question and opened a very big can of worms ... so many people on hear are going to plead and pray with you not to get an abortion .. even though it says nothing about u actually wanting one ... though if by chance you did want one im pretty sure that the max is 3 months .. so 12 weeks anything over that i think is a back yarders job and isnt safe . but what ever choice you make .. make sure u think long and hard about it .. if abortion is right for you at this point in time .. dont feel guilty about doing it ... and go for it ... no point having an unwanted child when it is gonna end up being resented in the long run .. good luck with what ever choice u make and try not to take people comments on hear to seriously as they are not walking in your shoes.

There's not a minimum time - you can have a medical abortion with mifepristone/misoprostol as soon as you confirm you're pregnant, depending on the law in your state regarding waiting periods on abortion, up until 49 days gestation. After that, you can have a surgical abortion until the end of your first trimester in most states without a problem.
