I think she got fired because she's dating that guy from 98 degrees, which pissed off all the stalker fangirls.

Minnillo is also in the process of securing a record deal to launch her music career.[5]

Doesn't she work on Entertainment Tonight? Or maybe she's on Inside Edition. It's one of those shows like that, but I can't remember which one.
