Poet analysis anyone?

This poem is called "Blood"
can some one please explain it if you understand what they are talking about?

The poet starts out by giving you an atmosphere of peace, serenity, about being a true Arab. Then she brings in the conflict in Israel, and how she does not understand how it can be, how anyone can be called civilized if they act that way.
