With the broncos signing all of these free-agents, do you think Shannahan is thinking about retiring?

Also, do you think the Broncos will get Grant Wnistrom?

i dont think Shannahan will retire soon, and hes one of the best coaches out there. And if im the broncos im going after Winstrom. Adding him to their D would make it totaly amazing. He gives them another pass rusher, and no brown isnt recoving. Brown is past his prime and signing winstrom they broncos not only get a good all around D end but then Brown and drumerville can be put in during passing situations and things like that where they will be more effective and you can have roations and keep your Dline fresh and the pressure on the QB consitenly.

Shanahan is not going to retire for at least another 2 years. So far in Free-Agency, we've gotten Travis Henry, Dre Bly, and Daniel Graham. Travis Henry is a beast, and so far is considered the best fit running back for their new team on NFL.com. Daniel Graham is great and always has been, and he adds a great new depth to their receiving core. The only thing left is Dre Bly. Dre Bly is one of the most dominant corners after Champ, but he wants out of Denver and to Washington. Recently, Shanahan has stated that he wants Clinton Portis back in Denver. So, going along w/ this, Denver is either going to keep Bly and get Winstrom, or, they are going to trade Bly to the Redskins for either one of these two packages: 1. Shaun Springs, Ladell Betts, and sixth pick in the first round; or 2. Clinton Portis and sixth pick in first round. Saying that we already got Travis Henry, I think we are most likely going to go w/ the first package, and getting Ladell Betts is an awesome addition to the running core, and Shaun Springs isn't that bad of a CB. It all depends on what Denver wants, but either way, I think they are going to win the AFC West this year not just because I am a hardcore fan, but because the Bolts are in a rebuilding stage, Chiefs are gaining ground, and Raiders are possibly returning to being decent. I think standings are going to end up with 1. Broncos (12-4); 2. Chargers (10-6); 3. Chiefs (9-7); 4. Raiders (7-9). Broncos will end up getting the second spot in the playoffs (with a bye in the first round), and will most likely end up playing the Ravens in the AFC Championship.

1. Wistrom is gonna stay where he is

2. The Broncos unloaded the salary cap and shocked everyone by making all these free agency moves

3. Shanahan is building a team for a run at the championship for this year and maybe the year after

I don't see Shanahan retiring anytime soon. Maybe in another 4 or 5 years. As far as getting Winstrom ..... he's been injured a lot and not sure he's worth the high price I'm sure he's after. They might be better off drafting a young pass rushing DE as their #1 pick.

Shanahan is not thinking of retiring, he is just doing what he thinks it will take to overtake the San Diego Chargers in their division.

One problem to this scenario is.... What if with all the money spent by the Bronco's in free agency this year they don't overtake the Chargers? Then what? Maybe then will he retire.

free agency is a complicated time... most of the players are avoiding the 'franchise' tag, but remember, the draft is near and after the draft, teams will slim down their roster to just the best. shanahan is not going to retire. he'll keep acquiring good players from cleveland and develop their talent, then run them into the ground. then he'll dump them and start over. how could he walk away from that?
