To the best of my knowledge the French don't celebrate the day the German Occupation of WWII ended in addition to Bastille Day, so I don't see why the US would celebrate both. However, we do like to create new holidays for ourselves, so I would say that both would end up being celebrated. We Americans also like to combine holidays though, especially if they happen to be close to each other on the calendar.

Final answer, we would end up celebrating one of two ways: July 4, the date of declared independence from Britain and Date X, the date of independence from Occupying force Y OR July 4, celebrating American Independence from all occupying forces ever.

ANSWER :

ONE

WHY: USA declared independence July 4th 1776
Then Established

There can never be a un federal government established in USA unless you were to kill all the people. If it happened it would be when they regained power. It would be no independance.
