That is such an injustice to that little girl, who only wishes to participate in something she loves and enjoys. Sadly the fundamentalists and extremists have warped the view and tolerance of people. I have some Muslim friends here in Australia and they are wonderful, law abiding people. I find it sad that the ones who chose to twist this religion and faith into a form of violence have made it so difficult for those who don't to be accepted and not looked at as a person of risk.

i live in freakin canada n i was quite surprised to read abt that..i dnt think it was the right thing to do..but we have to accept the fact that after 9/11 many ppl have started lookin at the hijab in a different way..but i was led to believe that the ref told her to take it off coz of some fifa rule abt headgears..

disagree with fifa cause they themselves are corrupted,I mean it's a scarf where is the danger in that give me a break football is for everyone to play even if they have to bend the rules which isn't going to bother anyone.I hope it works out for that little girl cause all she wants is to be part of joga bonito(beautiful Game).
