I'm 100% Georgia bred. I've been raised in the city(Atlanta) most of my life. I love Georgia, it has a lot to offer, great diversity, 5 major sports teams (some of the best), the biggest state in the current music industry, fast growing beautiful suburbs to the Atlanta area, ample amount of religious establisments for ALL religions, even top of the line bars and clubs. What is there not to like? The cultural diversity?

You would need to be more specific. In the early 80's I lived in Texas for a year. All the guns and ammunition sold in stores like Walmart gave me the creeps. There were some really great people, but I felt terribly out of place. I wouldn't be able to live there. A 3rd world country, Okay. Home in Canada, okay. but Texas? A great place to visit.
EDIT:
I just found another reference to Georgia in an earlier question - and realize what you are getting at. If I am right, and it is related to the fact that the Bible will be taught as literature in Georgia schools, then I would invite you to have a more open mind: the English language was customized as a result of the production of the English Bible. It is therefore the most important piece of English literature ever written, whether one believes its message or not. To not study it on the grounds of not agreeing with its message would be the height of knuckleheadedness.

I don't know about Georgia but if you decide to leave my advice to you is stay away from California. It's dysfunctional and corrupt here and the people are competing against New Yorkers to see who can rank the highest on the rudest scale. There are some nice people though but for the most part Californians are always in a hurry, impatient, pushy, rude, ignorant, greedy and selfish and uncaring about anybody but themselves. The criminals have more rights than the victims and I suspect it's the criminals who are making all the laws to be in their favor. There is allot of racism and prejudice among the people,it seems most people here are very defensive about their ethnic background and quick to accuse others of discrimination against them.Women here want to be men and the men want to be women and boys aren't allowed to be boys (that's why so many are on Ritalin) and the girls are treated like princesses and given special treatment over the boys. There's actually too many things wrong here to list.If God is willing we will beable to move someday and leave this God forsaken state to drown in it's own vomit.
