it seems to me that what would make sense is that girls that were abused as kids would totally shy away from any sexual contact and be extremely afraid of it. but it seems that it is the opposite of that. and no this question isnt because i just saw black snake moan. i know girls that are like this. the drug stuff i suppose i understand, dont get the sex though.

Sexual abuse separates sex and sexuality from love. These girls experience in their early years sex as something that a female does for a man's gratification, not her own. While some undoubtedly run a million miles form sex, it's understandable therefore if others have much less moral or emotional hesitation in using their sexuality a decade or so later for men's pleasure, as "sluts" or strippers, than most women do.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Many girls who are drug addicts, alcoholics, strippers, porn stars and such have never been sexually abused. there are many factors why a girl would do any facet of those thing. they may do some but not all. There are tens of thousands of girls here in America over the pass decade that has ended up on a Web site naked getting plowed like there was no tomorrow, or in print mags etc. Logic would say all of them have not been abused.

Years back when I worked at a salon, women get to treat you like a bar tender is to a man They talk and tell you stuff they would never tell other men, not even their b/f. I had a few clients that went into San Fran on a regular basis to clubs that would let amateurs work the pole if they paid for a night to work there. These girls were not abused. Most were in school. And working in a club 3 nights week for 5 hours they were making as much as if they worked the department store for 3 weeks full time. When they got there schooling met, they stopped.

A girl being a s*** these days would be more on society blurring the lines of lust and love. And quantifying sex(or the amount one gets thereof)as to how attractive or desirable you are. Where it was once a special connection a couple worked towards, it is not just another thing on the punch list, a commodity.

i know taht you were not making a generalization, and I of course, understand why you asked this question; and it's true that not all people who were molested as kids become molesters, or promiscuous- but for whatever reason a LOT of people who do induldge in that lifestyle, have been abused. i like the answer that that girl gave, in the other category where u posted this question. I'm actually surprised that you didn't get better answers in psychology. Oh well. You know what that means- you have to choose me as the best answer- AGAIN!!!
But u know what- I think that for a lot of these girls- that kind of treatment is all that they know. It's hard to break out of patterns like that when that is how you lived your life for so long.

I believe that the fact that comes with your question is in fact just an idea you've got from what you have seen from the people around you. That's them for one. But that's not all of them.

There are more women that have been molested before that tend to "shy away from any sexual contact and be extremely afraid of it" than the ones who indulge in it when they're grown... And that is a fact.

You have made an assumption based on flimsy evidence and presented a "foregone conclusion."
Most generalizations are bogus, including this one.
