The hospital staff usually "rounds it off" to the nearest normal date. That is, before noon, the baby's birthday is officially the 28th, and after noon, it's officially march 1st.

My cousin was born on leap day in 2000. The family celebrates his birthday on March 1st, since February 28 is a day before he was actually born.

If he/she was born on leap day usually he/she will have a celebration birth day first,second and third year on March 1 and the forth on February 29 and so on after fifth year,sixth and seventh on March 1 and then eighth on February 29.So every year that can be divided into 4 he/she will celebrate his/her birthday on February 29.

Most celebrate Feb 28th, because it's the last day of the month, just like their birthday. Most people don't like to have their birthday on March 1st, because march is not the month they were born in.

my friend's birthday was on leap day and she usually celebrates it on March 1 because technically it's the same day except on leap year.

My two friends whose birthday is 2/29 celebrate on 3/1 the other three years.

Of course, one of them celebrated on 2/28 when he turned 21 so he could legally go to the bar one day earlier.

Either the last day of February or the first day of March. Most people celebrate the first of March.

My nephew was born on leap day. We celebrate his birthday the last day of feb no matter what.

Either Febuary 28 or March 1. I always thought it was up to the parents and not a general rule but it might be what time you were born on the 29th,

It's up to the individual. Once of my friends was born on LEAP DAY and it depends on his schedule when he celebrates it.
