how and when do you think they'll do it

I do not think so, because Jeff Jarret is the Vice President and a minority owner of TNA, and he will do everything to keep TNA away from McMahon. Another reason is that many TNA wrestlers have been in WWE, and most of them will never work for McMahon again (Rhino, 3D, Raven, Shane Douglas, VKM, Kurt Angle, just to name a few). McMahon may have the money to buy TNA, but he cannot buy it if it is not for sale.
EDIT: @ Not you: TNA is not owned by NWA, it is owned by Panda Energy. They just have a deal with NWA, so they can use their title belts in TNA. Rumors say that NWA wants to dissolve that deal, so TNA must create their own titles.

The only way Vince will be interested in purchasing it is if TNA starts to be a serious threat to WWE's #1 status. At the moment they aren't and I don't think Dixie Carter or Jeff Jarrett would be interested in selling it anyway. Interesting side note: TNA is about to loose the rights to the NWA name, I wonder if Vince had anything to do with it? The will rename the their world title to the TNA world champion in the coming months and have a new look belt.

I hope not Vince Mcmahaon ruined WCW when he brought it and wrecked the wrestling business in the process, wrestling will never be the asame again, as there isn't anyone to contend for ratings with. When TNA start winning the ratings war WWE will have to really start making new storylines and ideas instead of changing old stories.

No. TNA is a self run promotion.

WCW was owned by Time-Warner. When it merged with AOL, they cut off WCW. Hence the reason why Vince was able to acquire WCW's mid card talent and not their main eventers who were under contract with Time-Warner.

Only time will tell.
Vince isn't ever worried about TNA at the moment. If the WWE starts really losing ratings and TNA starts blowing up, then Vince will come in, buy their wrestlers/his old ones or fire them and then close TNA down.

I hope not. The competition is causing McMahon to start putting out better product. Raw and Smackdown are starting to get good again. TNA is also improving.

As long as they both exist the fans are the biggest winners.

NO THEY WILL NEVER DO IT

TNA is owned by NWA, which has about 3 other wrestling promotionsunder it's name

NWA would never give in to WWE because of the senority it has over them; they went through hell and back and never gave in;

I DON'T SEE IT HAPPENIN.....
